Services for people with disabilities
The services, resources and tools we have tailored for the needs of people coping with disabilities help them to make full use of our libraries.

Lyon Library already has a shuttle which means that items borrowed (books, journals, CDs etc.) can be returned to any library (in the network of 15 libraries).
The Library also offers people with reduced mobility and mobility problems, the option of having items they want to borrow brought to the library which they go to, either as a one-off service or on all occasions.
For this service, you simply go to your usual library and present your disability card. You then complete a form in which you provide your details and the references of the selected items (3 items maximum from among those available to borrow).
The Library then obtains the items you want and notifies you by telephone or e-mail when they are ready for you to collect.
