The Guichet du Savoir (Knowledge Desk) has answered # questions

What questions?

You can ask any question, whether about documents or for information. We will give you precise answers or truly operational avenues for research. Naturally, we will not do your school or university work for you, any more than we will provide medical or legal consultations. Questions from library professionals are not covered by this service which is provided only for the general public. Questions about the operation of the Guichet du Savoir should be addressed directly to the Guichet du Savoir team using the contact form.
On the other hand, questions about the operation of the library or the management of members’ accounts are to be sent to the public relation department of the BmL, at: bm@bm-lyon.fr

Also, the Guichet du Savoir will not answer more than five questions in one week from the same web-surfer so that the largest number of people possible can access the service.

Who answers?

Only the librarians of the BmL can answer you. If you wish to respond to an answer you have been given, or if you would like more information, you need to ask another question, which will be added to your previous message, or you can post a comment on our Facebook page.

How long does it take?

The librarians undertake to answer you within seventy-two hours maximum (excluding Sundays and public holidays). You will be automatically notified of the response to your question by e-mail.

Do I have to meet any particular conditions?

This service is available to any internet user. You don’t have to be a member of the BmL or to live in a set geographical area. When you ask your question, you will be required to give a user name, a password and a valid e-mail address.
